Haiku from 17 Syllables

Excerpts from my recently released book of Haiku called 17 Syllables

My post content

Chains rust in the grass

The earth hums beneath bare feet

And the light breaks free

mountains call my name

their silence speaks a great truth

climb to see beyond

In stillness i learn --

meaning is not a treasure

it lives in the steps

absurd words take root

fools dressed as prophets declare

this is sacred law

knowledge creeps like dawn,

each question a crack of light

the dark cannot hold.

science splits the stars

but art takes the shattered light,

shapes it into dreams
